Fresh Capital Dock

When you walk through the doors, you realise that you’re not walking into an ordinary supermarket. That’s because you will find a wide range of gourmet, fresh, exotic and speciality produce that you can’t buy in most ordinary supermarkets….that’s the ‘fresh’ difference. Working alongside this ethos and building on our experience of previous Fresh store fitouts, the AIR Group needed to provide solutions that matched the passion of these clients. Shop floor refrigeration, Cold storage, Freshii front counter, back of house equipment and air conditioning to the entire store, all needed to be supplied & fitted expertly, on -time and within budget.

For the shop floor, The AIR Group once again employed the Nurdil range of multideck refrigeration, the Melis & Lena Cabinets offering full height & low level solutions with modern form & function at their core. These proven commercial refrigeration cabinets offer excellent product visibility with energy efficient advances combined with exceptional product preservation and storage capability. The shop floor refrigeration is back up by almost 30sqm of cold room storage, enabling this store to maintain all stock levels needed in the heart of the city.

Renowned for their food offerings, the “Fresh – the good food market” – has developed their brand over a number of years. The AIR Group maintained the integrity of the Fresh store concept and brand guidelines throughout this stores’ development. One area that required very careful consideration, was the air conditioning and ventilation needs of this city centre location. Upon completion of a full location & interior survey, the AIR Group in conjunction with, Mitsubishi Electric, proposed a City Multi VRV System, which offers high performance with optimum efficiency. This system allows for numerous indoor units to operate simultaneously while connected to only 1 outdoor unit allowing zoning of areas and targeted heating or cooling where needed. Also identified was the need for heat recovery and fresh air ventilation, the Lossnay system suggested by Mitsubishi Electric was the perfect companion system to work alongside the A/C. This system & its associated ducting, ensures the removal of stale air and the recovery of any heat energy to allow for incoming fresh air to be heated or cooled as needed. These combined systems ensure a comfortable environment at all times of the year, for staff and shoppers alike.
